Development in Europe

We met with a part of certificated TBB-Trainers in Bonn last week. The group of trainers are really different not only from their skills but also from their age. The yougest trainer was 27, the oldest was nearly 70. It was nice to see, that at the supervision workshop different kind of people can work and play together and have the same fun in the movements of TBB.

new year and new developments

Every process in the world gonna be easier and faster! but should this also be in sport or physical education? i dont think so. for example do you really can play better football, when you wear the shoes of david beckham, or you will play better when you train yourself frequently, doing movements again and again. i think the aim of sport is to be in action. if someone who hates to be in action, than i prefer some equipments or technical assecoires, which can helps him to be in action easier. but if you are already in action, than it should be better that you faces the difficulty of physical education!

Standard forms of freestyle movements...?!

Many people ask me for forms and standardized movements of Taiji Bailong Ball. Is that really necessary? Is the mastery of the forms really the aim of playing Taiji Bailong Ball? The inventor Prof. Bai Rong says: NO!! And i have the same point of view. The standard-form is only a instrument of remember movements and do them right, but it isn't the aim of the standardforms, only to do these sequences of movements! Its the same as Taijiquan, the doing and way of doing is the elementary thing, not which form or sequences you can remember.

So i would say the Taiji Bailong Ball Solo-Freestyle is the most beautiful and difficult discipline of Taiji Bailong Ball. The aim is to hamonize the movements (body, racket and ball) with the rhythm and melody of the music. So you have to move like the "White Dragon - Bailong", smooth and strengthful, slow and fast, without any corners, all about round way of movements.

I know a lot of trainers and players (in china and overseas), who is doing Taiji Bailong Ball only as a communication with other people, that is good, but not for trainers!! These "wannabe" trainers dont really care about the essences and basics of TBB and Prof. Bai Rong. This makes me really sad and angry... But if you play Taiji Bailong Ball as Prof. Bai Rong teached you, you have to TOLERATE first......

Always in autumn i use to have some injuries. this year when i want to practice the meditation-seat, my knee made a big tone...like BONG!! i think it is an injury of my meniscus. will have some rest.... :-(

But in this winter there should be more activities round the TBB. Like developing in sports-centers and in countries like portugal...

i will have some regenerations first!
